Supreme Court Dismisses Nirbhaya Convict’s Plea Against Mercy Petition Rejection

The Supreme Court has dismissed the plea of Mukesh Kumar, a death row convict in the Nirbhaya gang rape case, against the rejection of his mercy petition by President Ram Nath Kovind. Earlier, during the hearing in the apex court, Kumar’s lawyer Anjana Prakash claimed that he was 'sexually abused' in Tihar jail.
