Delhi Election 2020: What is the political equation of Rajinder Nagar. The Rajinder Nagar assembly seat falls under the New Delhi Lok Sabha seat. In the 2015 Delhi assembly elections, Vijender Garg Vijay of Aam Aadmi Party defeated BJP candidate RP Singh. But this time, the Aam Aadmi Party has cut the ticket of sitting MLA Vijendra Garg from this seat and AAP veteran Raghav Chadha has been fielded from this seat. Raghav Chadha was a candidate from South Delhi seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

राजिंदर नगर विधानसभा सीट नई दिल्‍ली लोकसभा सीट के अंतर्गत आती है। 2015 के दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनाव में इस सीट पर आम आदमी पार्टी के विजेंद्र गर्ग विजय ने बीजेपी प्रत्याशी आरपी सिंह को हराया था। लेकिन इस बार इस सीट से आम आदमी पार्टी ने मौजूदा विधायक विजेंद्र गर्ग का टिकट काट दिया है और इस सीट से आप के दिग्गज नेता राघव चड्ढा को मैदान में उतारा गया है. राघव चड्ढा 2019 लोकसभा चुनाव में दक्षिण दिल्ली सीट से प्रत्याशी थे.
