Delhi Election 2020: What is the political equation of Model Town. Chandni Chowk of Model Town Assembly seat comes under Lok Sabha seat. In the 2015 Delhi assembly elections, Akhilesh Pati Tripathi of the Aam Aadmi Party defeated BJP candidate Vivek Garg. Akhilesh has been winning this seat twice. This time the BJP has nominated former minister of Kejriwal government and Kapil Mishra who is in discussion for his controversial statements from here.

मॉडल टाउन विधानसभा सीट की चांदनी चौक लोकसभा सीट के अंतर्गत आती है। 2015 के दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनाव में इस सीट पर आम आदमी पार्टी के अखिलेश पति त्रिपाठी ने बीजेपी प्रत्याशी विवेक गर्ग को हराया था। अखिलेश इस सीट पर दो बार से जीत दर्ज कर रहे हैं. इस बार बीजेपी ने केजरीवाल सरकार के पूर्व मंत्री और अपने विवादित बयानों के लिए चर्चा में रहने वाले कपिल मिश्रा को यहां से उम्मीदवार बनाया है.
