This was the sweet moment Carley Trout's grandmother met her family dog, Dexter, for the first time in over a year after being moved into a nursing home due to being diagnosed with dementia.

"Grandma had a stroke and had since been diagnosed with dementia, and had to leave her family home. She has always loved animals and after being in the hospital for a long time, then moving to a nursing home all she wished for was to see Dexter again. We made this happen and this is her reaction," Carley told Newsflare.
