Wild East Coast of Bonaire - Funchi Reef

Funchi Reef is a vast dive site in eastern Bonaire. Located just besides the natural exit channel of the barrier reef which shelters Lac baai from the harsh ocean swells. The large waves make it nearly impossible to moore up on a line. Its a beautiful Drop off/Drift dive. Due to the conditions there are very little divers on this side of the island. Therefore the reef is in pristine condition. Loads of healthy soft and hard coral and a big variety of marine life calls this its home. We dived with Bonaire East Coast Diving.
