The Jammu and Kashmir administration has restored broadband services in all government offices, institutions providing essential services such as hospitals and banks, and tourism-related establishments. Which is an indication that after Republic Day on 26 January this facility can be extended to the general public. This step has been taken at a time when the Supreme Court ordered the Jammu and Kashmir administration to review the restrictions imposed in the Union Territory.

जम्मू और कश्मीर प्रशासन ने सभी सरकारी कार्यालयों, अस्पतालों और बैंकों जैसी आवश्यक सेवाएं देने वाले संस्थानों, और पर्यटन से जुड़े प्रतिष्ठानों में ब्रॉडबैंड सेवाओं को बहाल कर दिया है। जो इस बात के संकेत है कि 26 जनवरी को गणतंत्र दिवस के बाद यह सुविधा को आम जनता तक बढ़ाया जा सकता है। यह कदम ऐसे समय में उठाया गया हैं, जब सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने जम्मू-कश्मीर प्रशासन को केंद्र शासित प्रदेश में लगे प्रतिबंधों की समीक्षा करने का आदेश दिया था
