DIY HVAC Save Big $$$. Increase Efficiency & Air Quality. Modification.

All home AC units require an airflow space of 200sq inches per ton.
Most homes are 3-4 tons, however most filters and flow specs are 400sq inches or less.

Essentially, the filter on your home will fill up with dust sooner, cause strain on your interior fan blower, and reduce overall airflow through your system causing it to not cool adequately and in turn your system runs longer.

The goal in this video is to make the air flow slower through the filter by increasing the amount of square inches for air to pass, in doing so the air will be cleaned much better.
The system will run much easier because it doesnt have to blow as hard using more electricity.
There is more air flow to carry cool air to rooms in need letting your system have shorter cycles which save in electricity also!
