While addressing at the Indian Army annual briefing in the national capital on Jan 11, Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane said that Army deployed on the borders are safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity. He said, “We swore allegiance to Constitution of India in fact be it a Jawan or an officer, we take an oath that is what should guide us in all our action at all times. We are deployed on the borders safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity it is to secure for our people these core values,”
