A 26-year-old restaurateur serves some of LA's favorite brisket

Freedman’s is relatively new to the LA food world in terms of beloved Jewish delis, but people still can’t get enough of the spot run by 26-year-old Jonah Freedman. He opened the Jewish deli-inspired restaurant in 2017, and even secured a rave review from the legendary Jonathan Gold, who especially loved the brisket. Insider’s Sydney Kramer talked with Jonah about Ashkenazi cooking, what people don’t know about Jewish food, and what makes Freedman’s so special.
