Two-seater trainee aircraft crashed on Friday night during a routine traning flight near Dhana airstrip in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district. Both the flight instructor identified as Ashok Makwana and trainee pilot identified as Piyush Chandel were killed in the crash. The pilot of the aircraft of 'Chimes Academy' was trying to land at Dhana airstrip when it crashed in the adjoining field, said Sagar Superintendent of Police Amit Sanghi.It is believed that the crash took place after the pilots could not judge the runway due to the dense fog. Both their bodies have now been sent for postmortem. Chimes Academy's local administrator Rahul Sharma confirmed the accident.

मध्य प्रदेश के सागर में शुक्रवार रात एक एयरक्राफ्ट क्रैश हो गया। इस हादसे में दो पायलट की मौत हो गई है। दोनों पयलटों के नाम सामने आ गए है। एक ट्रेनर पायलट अशोक मकवाना हैं तो दूसरे ट्रेनी पायलट पीयूष चंदेल हैं। दोनों मुंबई के रहने वाले थे। जानकारी के अनुसार रात्रि कालीन उड़ान के बाद कोहरा बढ़ने से पायलेट को रनवे दिखाई नहीं दिया, जिससे विमान करीब 80-100 मीटर दूर खेत में जा गिरा। घटना के बाद दिल्ली से चीफ ऑपरेटिंग ऑफिसर वायएन शर्मा सागर के लिए रवाना हो गए थे।
