The mobile SMS service, which has been shut for almost four months in the Kashmir Valley, is starting again. Jammu and Kashmir Principal Secretary Rohit Kansal has said that broadband and SMS facility will be operational in all government offices in Jammu and Kashmir. Internet services in all government hospitals, SMS services on all mobile phones will be restored from midnight of 31 December in Kashmir.

कश्मीर घाटी में करीब चार महीने से बंद मोबाइल एसएमएस सेवा फिर से शुरू हो रही है। जम्मू कश्मीर के प्रधान सचिव रोहित कंसल ने कहा है कि जम्मू कश्मीर के सभी सरकारी दफ्तरों में ब्रॉडबैंड सुविधा और SMS सुविधा चालू होंगी। कश्मीर में 31 दिसंबर की मध्य रात्रि से सभी सरकारी अस्पतालों में इंटरनेट सेवाएं, सभी मोबाइल फोन पर एसएमएस सेवाएं बहाल हो जाएंगी।
