The first Chief of Defense Staff of the country has been found in the form of former Army Chief General Bipin Rawat. After becoming CDS, Bipin Rawat became the Chief of all the three armies. On the other hand, the Congress party has opposed the decision of the Modi government. The Congress party says that the government has taken a wrong step by deciding to make Bipin Rawat as CDS.

पूर्व सेना प्रमुख जनरल बिपिन रावत के रूप में देश का पहला चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस स्टाफ मिल गया है। सीडीएस बनने के बाद बिपिन रावत तीनों सेनाओं के चीफ बन गए हैं। दूसरी तरफ कांग्रेस पार्टी ने मोदी सरकार के फैसल का विरोध किया है। कांग्रेस पार्टी का कहना है कि बिपिन रावत को सीडीएस बनाने का फैसला लेकर सरकार ने गलत कदम उठाया है।
