While his family is shattered by the death of actor Kushal Punjabi, his friends are also shocked. Kushal's best friend Chetan Hansraj is still in a state of shock and to recover from this, he has left Mumbai for a few days and moved to Gujarat with his relatives. Earlier in a conversation, he said, "The last few days have been very difficult for me. I am finding it difficult to stay here and I want to move away from Mumbai."

अभिनेता कुशल पंजाबी के निधन से जहां उनका परिवार बिखर गया है तो वहीं उनके दोस्तों को भी सदमा पहुंचा है। कुशल के बेस्ट फ्रेंड चेतन हंसराज अब भी बेहद सदमे में हैं और इससे उबरने के लिए वे कुछ दिन के लिए परिवार समेत मुंबई छोड़ गुजरात अपने रिश्तेदारों के यहां चले गए हैं। इससे पहले एक बातचीत में उन्होंने कहा, "पिछले कुछ दिन मेरे लिए बहुत कठिन रहे। यहां मुझे रहने में मुश्किल हो रही है और मैं मुंबई से दूर जाना चाहता हूं।"
