Intense cold spell continued on Monday in north Indian states – Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan, among with dense fog. The national capital was engulfed in a blanket of dense fog on Monday morning, resulting in low visibility was recorded fell to as low as zero metres. Due to the extremely harsh weather, several flights and trains were affected. Delhi airport authorities took to twitter to inform the passengers about the affected flight operations.


राजधानी दिल्ली समेत पूरे उत्तर भारत में रिकॉर्डतोड़ सर्दी ने लोगों के होश फाख्ता कर दिए हैं। दिल्ली-एनसीआर समेत पूरा उत्तर भारत घने कोहरे की चपेट में है। दिल्ली में सुबह सात बजे के करीब कई जगह विजिविलिटी जीरो हो गई. दिल्ली में सोमवार की सुबह तापमान 2.4 डिग्री पहुंच गया है. कड़ाके की सर्दी के बाद हरियाणा, यूपी में कई जगह स्कूलों की छुट्टी कर दी गई है.घने कोहरे का असर ट्रेनों के साथ-साथ फ्लाइट्स पर भी पड़ा है। कोहरे का असर नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन पर भी देखने को मिल रहा है। नॉर्दन रेलवे रीजन में लो विजिबलिटी के कारण 30 ट्रेनें देरी से चल रही हैं। तो वहीं कई फ्लाइट्स के रूट बदले गए हैं.
