Hello, today I want to talk about why are marketers seeing affiliate marketing as a growing business. The short answer is because it's a very simple business model that is very flexible and offers a ton of freedom.
Like you probably are, I like to keep all my options open. I'm constantly searching for something better than affiliate marketing. I have not found anything.
I honestly feel affiliate marketing offers someone the most amount of freedom than any other business model and this is what attracted me the most to this business.
For starters you can do affiliate marketing anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection. That is very free.
When it comes to your schedule it's very flexible. You can work the business at 1:00 AM in the morning if you want. That is very cool. There are not too many business's where you can do that.
It offers you a ton of freedom on how to work the business. Do you like to sing? Guess what you can make singing videos and put them on TikTok on promote your business.
Yea, you can even have rain coming down in your video. There is a ton of creativity that you can add to your business.
The best part about affiliate marketing is I can walk away and I can still make good money. All the work is already done.
There are many other service business's like consulting and being a social media marketing agency. What I don't like about those models is not only do you have to market your service, which does take work.
You also have to perform those services. You truly can't walk away. I notice this when I watch Gary Vee videos when he talks about all he does is put out fires and works and works.
More power to him, me I like the mountains. I love surfing and playing my guitar, reading and doing dumb shit.
I don't need millions of dollars, but I do love to work when I want to.
If you own a social media marketing agency or do consulting it's very hard to detach. You probably have to put out fires and be ready to put out the fires. I think this is a big reason that makes affilaite marketing appealing.
Another business model I really like is buying domain names and then reselling them. It makes complete sense to me and I really like it.
The problem with domains is for one you have to risk money. You also probably have to wait for the right buyer on the domain and it may take a very long time.
You also have to pay the renewal fees on the domain until it sells. It's a little similar to stocks where your money is tied up. It's more of a investment than a business.
With affiliate marketing all you are risking is looking stupid and the judgment of others, which can be a hard thing for some people to overcome.
