नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के खिलाफ हो रहे हिंसक प्रदर्शन को लेकर आर्मी चीफ विपिन रावत के बयान पर कांग्रेस नेता पी. चिदंबरम ने निशाना साधा है. विपन रावत ने हिंसा का समर्थन कर रहे नेताओं को नसीहत दी थी. अब पी. चिदंबरम ने कहा है कि डीपीजी और सेनाध्यक्ष को सरकार का समर्थन करने के लिए कहा जा रहा है, यह शर्म की बात है. जनरल रावत से अपील करते हैं, आप सेना के प्रमुख हैं और अपने काम से काम रखें. यह सेना का काम नहीं है कि हम राजनेताओं को बताएं कि हमें क्या करना चाहिए, क्योंकि यह हमारा काम नहीं है कि हम आपको बताएं कि युद्ध कैसे लड़ा जाए.
