The entire north India including Delhi, the capital of the country, is in the grip of severe cold these days. In Delhi, it is freezing, shivering with temperature rolling. On Saturday, the minimum temperature in the capital fell to 2.4 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, this is the second December in 118 years, when Delhi is getting so cold. Earlier in 1997, there was such a long cold.

देश की राजधानी दिल्ली समेत पूरा उत्तर भारत इन दिनों कड़ाके की सर्दी और शीतलहर की चपेट में है. दिल्ली में लगातार लुढ़कते पारे के साथ कंपकंपाने वाली ठंड पड़ रही है. राजधानी में शनिवार को न्यूनतम तापमान गिरकर 2.4 डिग्री पर पहुंच गया. मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक, 118 साल में ये दूसरा दिसंबर है, जब दिल्ली में इतनी कड़ाके की ठंड पड़ रही है. इससे पहले 1997 में इतनी लंबी ठंड पड़ी थी.
