Rani Ki Vav (Queen's Stepwell) - A World Heritage Site

Rani ki Vav (Queen's Stepwell) is situated in Patan, Gujarat located on the banks of river Sarasvati. In 2014, Rani ki Vav becomes UNESCO's world heritage site. In 2018, govt of India placed Rani ki Vav in 100 Rs. note. The vav (stepwell) is constructed by queen Udaymati in the memory of her husband Bhimdeva I. Its beautiful architecture is one of its own kind. The main purpose of this vav was to store large amount of water. It is a must visit site in Gujarat, India
