Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday, paid tributes to former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the occasion of his 95th birth anniversary. President Ram Nath Kovind, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani and others paid tribute to Vajpayee at the 'Sadaiv Atal' memorial in New Delhi. Later during the day, PM Modi will be unveiling the statue of the former prime minister in Lucknow. Modi will also lay the foundation stone for Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University for which the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to transfer 50-acre land.
