Assam will remain with Assamese people: CM Sonowal

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal assured the people that adequate measures will be taken to get the Clause 6 of the Assam Accord implemented. He said, “Assam will remain with the Assamese people. For this, whatever legislation are required, we will bring those. PM and HM have assured people of Assam that all adequate measures will be taken to get the Clause 6 of Assam Accord implemented.” Further adding on violence during anti- Citizenship Act protests in Assam, CM Sonowal said, “Whoever was involved will not be spared, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted.” For latest news follow www.deccanherald.com.
