Citizenship Act: Assam BJP MLA in fear, ready to leave party. After the Citizenship Amendment Act came into existence, the voice of protest first arose from Assam itself and violent protests took place against it. Demonstrations are still continuing in many places in Assam and now the situation has reached such a point that BJP MLAs of the ruling party are finding it difficult to respond to the people.
नागरिकता संशोधन क़ानून के अस्तित्व में आने के बाद विरोध की आवाज़ सबसे पहले असम से ही उठी थी और इसके खिलाफ हिंसक प्रदर्शन हुए थे। असम में कई जगहों पर प्रदर्शन आज भी जारी हैं और अब हालात यहां तक पहुंच चुके हैं कि सत्ताधारी दल बीजेपी के विधायकों को लोगों को जवाब देना मुश्किल हो रहा है।
