India will break up if its secular thread is broken: Filmmaker Aparna Sen joins CAA protests

Filmmaker Aparna Sen took part in a protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 and National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Kolkata on December 19. After the CAB passed from both the houses, several protests are going on across the country.
While speaking to media persons, Sen said, "Ours is a sub-continent that has many languages, cultures, ethnicities, it is held together by a tenuous thread that is secularism. If that thread breaks, then, the country breaks up."
