Ashok Gehlot government is celebrating its one year in Rajasthan. A three-day program has been held across the state from December 17. Ashok Gehlot may be patting himself on the back for announcing the debt waiver of farmers within ten days of taking over the reins of Rajasthan, but the ground reality is very bitter. There are estimated more than 90 lakh farmers in Rajasthan, out of which 58 lakh farmers have a debt of more than 99 thousand crores.

राजस्थान में अशोक गहलोत सरकार अपने एक साल का जश्न मना रही है। प्रदेशभर में 17 दिसम्बर से तीन दिवसीय कार्यक्रम रखे गए हैं। राजस्थान की बागडोर संभालने के दस दिन के भीतर किसानों के कर्ज माफी की घोषणा करके अशोक गहलोत भले ही खुद की पीठ थपथपा रहे हों लेकिन जमीनी हकीकत बेहद कड़वी है।मोटे अनुमान के तौर पर राजस्थान में 90 लाख से ज्यादा किसान हैं, ​इनमें से 58 लाख किसानों पर 99 हजार करोड़ रुपए से ज्यादा का कर्ज है।
