London pantomime horses compete in charity race and dance contest
  • 4 years ago
Pantomime horses competed in a dance-off before racing around London in an event raising money for charity.

'Strictly Neigh Dancing', a pun on British TV's popular Strictly Come Dancing show, featured panto horses trotting in time to various tunes.

The race that followed took the panto horses around the Greenwich area of the city, taking in several pub pit stops along the way.

The London Pantomime Horse Race raises money for various charities and features contestants dressed in deliberately unconvincing horse costumes characteristic of the British Christmas theatre tradition known as panto.

This year was the 10th London Pantomime Horse Race.
