Defending Champions League title winner Liverpool head to a dangerous away test in Salzburg with a trip to the Knockout Round on the line.

After a scoreless but exciting first half that featured many chances from both sides, Liverpool pounced on two chances in the second half just one minute apart. Naby Keita headed home before Mo Salah scored a beautiful goal from a ridiculous angle, and that was all the Reds needed.

The LFC defense held for the rest of the 90 minutes, keeping breakout star Erling Håland off the scoresheet in Europe for the first time all season. Liverpool heads to the Round of 16 as the winner of Group E.
