The Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 has passed the Lok Sabha. Now this bill will be introduced in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. JDU in the Lok Sabha supported Citizenship Amendment Bill, there is a stir within the party itself. Protests have started within the party to support the bill. JDU leader Ghulam Rasul Baliyavi has written a letter to Nitish Kumar questioning his decision to support this bill.

नागरिकता संशोधन बिल 2019 लोकसभा से पास हो गया है. अब इस बिल को बुधवार यानी आज राज्यसभा में पेश किया जाएगा. लोकसभा में जेडीयू ने इस बिल का समर्थन करते हुए इसे पारित कराने में केंद्र का समर्थन किया था. जदयू के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष और बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार के नागरिकता संशोधन बिल के समर्थन से पार्टी के अंदर ही अब खलबली मच गई है. पार्टी के अंदर बिल के समर्थन को लेकर विरोध शुरू हो गया है. जेडीयू उपाध्यक्ष प्रशांत किशोर, पवन वर्मा के बाद अब पूर्व राज्यसभा सांसद और जदयू नेता गुलाम रसूल बलियावी ने भी नीतीश कुमार को पत्र लिखकर उनके इस बिल के समर्थन करने के फैसले पर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं.
