Voices of protest are also rising in the US over the Citizenship Amendment Bill… The US Federal Commission for International Religious Freedom has called for a ban on Home Minister Amit Shah. The commission has demanded from the US government that if the bill is passed in both houses of India, then it is only appropriate to sanction against Home Minister amit shah and other leaders.

नागरिकता संशोधन विधेय को लेकर अमेरिका में भी विरोध के स्वर उठ रहे हैं... अंतरराष्‍ट्रीय धार्मिक स्‍वतंत्रता के अमेरिकी फेडरल कमीशन ने गृहमंत्री अमित शाह पर रोक लगाने की बात कही है। कमीशन ने अमेरिकी सरकार से मांग की है कि यदि भारत के दोनों सदनों में इस विधेयक को पारित कर दिया गया तब गृहमंत्री अमित शाह को अमेरिका में प्रतिबंधित करना ही उचित है।
