Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced the Citizenship Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha on Monday. Amid the uproar, when the bill was introduced on Monday, the opposition has demanded a vote on it. When voting was done, 293 votes were cast in favor of the introduction of the bill and 82 votes against it. केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने सोमवार को लोकसभा में नागरिकता संशोधन बिल को पेश किया. जोरदार हंगामे के बीच सोमवार को जब बिल पेश हुआ तो विपक्ष की ओर से इसपर मतदान की मांग की गई है. जब वोटिंग हुई तो बिल पेश करने के पक्ष में 293 और विरोध में 82 वोट पड़े. सोमवार को सदन में केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह और विपक्षी सांसदों के बीच तीखी बहस हुई.
