out in Defense of Billie Eilish .
Billie Eilish was recently met with widespread criticism
after she revealed on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ that she
did not know who the band Van Halen was. .
Van Halen, an American hard rock band
founded in 1972, last performed together
live in 2015, when Eilish was 13 years old. .
Following the news, Wolfgang Van Halen, bassist and the son of the band’s founder, Eddie Van Halen, was quick to defend Eilish.
Music is supposed to bring
us together, not divide us.
