The player's registration for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 Auction closed on Monday (December 2) with 971 cricketers (713 Indian and 258 overseas players) signing up for the auction set to take place in Kolkata on December 19. There are 73 spots up for the grabs in the auction for the cash-rich domestic T20 league. 215 capped players, 754 uncapped and 2 players from Associate Nations have thrown their hats into the mix.

आईपीएल 2020 की नीलामी में हिस्सा लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों की लिस्ट जारी हो गयी है. इस बार की नीलामी में कुल 971 खिलाड़ियों ने रजिस्ट्रेशन कराया है. यानी 19 दिसंबर को 971 खिलाड़ियों की किस्मत पर बोली लगाई जाएगी. बीसीसीआई ने पिछले दिनों प्रेस रिलीज के जरिये नीलामी में हिस्सा लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों की जानकारी दी है. आपको बता दें, नीलामी में अपना नाम रजिस्टर करवाने की आखिरी तारीख 30 नवंबर थी. दिलचस्प बात ये है कि उन 971 खिलाड़ियों में सिर्फ 73 खिलाड़ियों को ही जगह मिलेगी. क्योंकि आठ टीमों के पास कुल मिलाकर 73 खिलाड़ियों की जगह ही खाली है. वैसे, आईपीएल नीलामी में 215 इंटरनेशनल खिलाड़ियों ने अप्लाई किया है.
