The online program allows people to"adopt" a letter to St. Nick and send thechild whatever is on their Christmas list. Kids write a letter to Santa and mail it viathe USPS to the official North Pole addressat 123 Elf Road, North Pole, 88888. The USPS then sorts and scansthese letters, and posts the scannednotes to the Operation Santa website. You can then browse through the handwrittenletters and select one—or several—to adopt. After completing your Secret Santashopping, simply package up the presentand attach a label with the ID number. Most of the letters come from kids, butsome of the messages are written byfamilies who need some extra help this season.
