Jharkhand Elections: 62.87% total voter turnout in first phase

Total voter turnout for the first phase of assembly elections in Jharkhand was 62.87%. Process of packing Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and VVPATs began in Lohardaga after the first phase concluded. The first phase of polling in 13 constituencies began on November 30. The elections in Jharkhand will be held in five phases and the results will be out on December 23.
