Centre’s ‘Pakoda’ economic vision sunk India’s economy: Congress on GDP growth rate
  • 4 years ago
Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala lambasted at Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government over country’s GDP growth prediction of dipping to 4.5 percent. Attacking on the current government in power, he said, “Failed ‘Modinomics’ and a ‘Pakoda’ economic vision have sunk Indian economy into deep economic recession.” Taking the example of rating agencies, he said, “It’s now clear that the GDP data of second quarter at 4.5% is at 6 years low.” The Congress leader also claimed that during Congress’ tenure of ten years the GDP growth was at an average of 8.13 percent.
