Mohamad Sabu says having a White Paper on the plans of the Ministry of Defence (Mindef) is like preparing the grocery list to ensure the country does not overspend.

In a recent interview with The Star, the Defence Minister said the previous government had been influenced by arms brokers and bought equipment which was not needed at prices that were not economical.
