Broken bones on X-rays lay bare domestic violence in Italy

X-rays speak louder than words at an exhibition where images of the broken bones of victims of domestic violence are on display at a Milan hospital. The exhibition at San Carlo Borromeo hospital was the idea of trauma surgeon Maria Grazia Vantadori, 59, who wanted to present in stark reality what she has seen in her 26 years of practice.
