कर्ता हेतुः क्रिया यस्मात्तस्मै ज्ञप्त्यात्मने नमः ॥ २॥
~ योगवासिष्ठः/प्रकरणम् १ (वैराग्यप्रकरणम्)
Neither one who is totally ignorant nor one who knows it (i.e. Truth) is eligible to study this
book. Only he who thinks' I am bound ; I must become free ' is entitled to study it.
