Dr Wee reveals “dubious awards” of direct contracts by senior minister

MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong revealed on Thursday dubious awards of direct contracts for paddy related subsidies and imports worth RM1.4 bil by a senior minister.
Dr Wee raised the issue up when debating the Budget 2020, claiming that Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub had recently sought to award a contract worth RM1.4bil to the National Farmers Organisation (Nafas).
