Dr. CV Raman… the great scientist of India, who made his matchless contribution in strengthening India from the scientific point of view. Today is the death anniversary of Dr. CV Raman. And the countrymen are saluting him on this occasion. CV Raman is remembered for inculcating scientific research and passion for science among the youth. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for his outstanding work on the scattering of light. His invention is also known as Raman effect in his own name. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna by the government. Chandrasekhar Venkat Raman died on 21 November 1970.

डॉ. सीवी रमन...भारत के महान वैज्ञानिक, जिन्होने भारत को वैज्ञानिक नज़रिए से मज़बूत बनाने में अपना अतुलनीय योगदान दिया। आज डॉ. सीवी रमन की पुण्यतिथि है। और उन्हे इस मौके पर देशवासी नमन कर रहे हैं। सीवी रमन को वैज्ञानिक शोध और युवाओं में विज्ञान के प्रति लगाव पैदा करने के लिए याद किया जाता है। प्रकाश के प्रकीर्णन पर उत्कृष्ट कार्य के लिए उन्हें नोबेल पुरस्कार दिया गया। उनके आविष्कार को भी उनके ही नाम पर रमन प्रभाव के नाम से जाना जाता है। सरकार ने उन्हें भारत रत्न से सम्मानित किया गया था। चंद्रशेखर वेंकट रमन का निधन 21 नवंबर 1970 को हो गया था।
