S. Korean defense minister Jeong Kyeong-doo on first trip to Saudi Arabia

South Korea's defense minister Jeong Kyeong-doo is heading to Saudi Arabia to boost bilateral defense cooperation with the kingdom.
It's his first official visit there since becoming defense chief last September.
Riyadh invited Jeong following Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to South Korea in June.
The minister recently attended celebrations in Seoul for Saudi Arabia's 89th National Day... and met the country's ambassador.
He returns to South Korea on Saturday.
