Parliament Winter Session: PM Modi addressed the historic 250th session and described it as a moment of pride for democracy. Describing the upper house as eternal and the soul of India’s federal structure, Modi said it is the place which values experience of those who excel in their respective professions. Modi said Rajya Sabha has seen many historic moments, it has made history also and has seen history being made as well. It is a far-sighted house.

सोमवार को संसद के उच्च सदन राज्यसभा में 250वें सत्र की शुरुआत हुई। इस ऐतिहासिक मौके पर पीएम मोदी ने सदन को संबोधित किया। सबसे पहले पीएम मोदी ने राज्यसभा में योगदान देने वाले सभी सांसदों का अभिनंदन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्यसभा के 250वें सत्र में शामिल होना मेरा सौभाग्य है। सदन ने बदले हुए हालात में खुद को ढालने की कोशिश की। इस सदन ने बनते हुए इतिहास को देखा है। पीएम ने कहा कि स्थायित्व और विविधता इस सदन की खूबसूरती है। पीएम ने कहा कि राज्यसभा सेकेंड हाउस है, सेकेंडरी हाउस नहीं। पीएम ने सदन में व्यवहार को लेकर एनसीपी-बीजेडी की तारीफ की। उन्होंने कहा कि दोनों दलों के सांसद कभी वेल में नहीं आए और हमें इनसे सीखना चाहिए।
