Mumbai is the only city whose tap water meets the piped drinking water quality standards set by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), according to a study of 21 capital cities released on Saturday.Delhi has the most unsafe tap water, with all samples failing on several parameters. The national capital is one of the 13 cities where all samples have failed to meet the BIS norms.

केंद्र सरकार ने देश के 21 राज्यों की राजधानी में पीने के पानी की गुणवत्ता के आधार पर रैंकिंग जारी की है. जिसमें मुंबई ने पहला स्थान हासिल किया है. इसका मतलब है कि देश में पीने लायक सबसे शुद्ध पानी मुंबई में हैं. वहीं लिस्ट में सबसे आखिरी नाम देश की राजधानी दिल्ली का है, यानी यहां का पानी पीने के लिहाज से बिल्कुल खराब है.देखें वीडियो
