Gove: Gauke is 'wrong' on Government's Brexit position

Michael Gove has argued that David Gauke is "wrong" to say that the Government's position at the end of 2020 is to crash out of the EU with a very hard Brexit. The cabinet minister said; "we've got a great Brexit deal that the Prime Minister has secured". However, Mr Gove added that there is no possibility that he would contemplate extending the implementation period if a trade deal has not been secured. He also stated that he believes it is "feasible" the UK can conclude a comprehensive free trade deal with the EU by 2020. Report by Thomasl.
