The Supreme Court allowed the disqualified rebel MLAs of Karnataka to contest in the upcoming by-polls on December 05. Speaking on it, former chief minister of Karnataka and Congress leader, Siddaramaiah said that he welcomed the whole judgment of the Supreme Court. He said, "I welcome the whole judgment, even that of Supreme Court allowing them (17 disqualified MLAs) to contest by-elections. It is a lesson for the MLAs who wanted to join any other political party on whims and fancies or coercion by other parties."
