China’s deepest onshore natural gas field in Xinjiang becomes fully operational

China's largest oil and gas producer PetroChina has reportedly opened the country’s deepest onshore gas field. Chinese state media said the Keshen 9 field, located in the Tarim Basin in the western Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, went fully operational in early November 2019.
