Smog canopies Delhi, air quality remains ‘hazardous’

New Delhi: A layer of thick smog blankets the national capital on November 12. There is no respite for people as air quality remains ‘Hazardous’.

According to Air Quality Index (AQI), major pollutants in Delhi’s Lodhi Road, PM 2.5 stood at 456, which means ‘severe’ and PM 10 at 287, which means ‘poor’.

To curb air pollution, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led government in Delhi has announced the implementation of the odd-even scheme from Nov 04-15.
