Mark Cuban Calls Elizabeth Warren's Wealth Tax Plan 'Unrealistic'.
The 2020 candidate's strategy sees households worth over $1 billion
take on a six percent tax increase
for every dollar.
The Dallas Mavericks owner is one of a few U.S. billionaires to publicly denounce the policy.
In multiple tweets, Cuban said he is fine with paying more taxes, but is
not a supporter of Warren's plan.
"She is selling shiny objects to divert attention from reality. Haven't we had enough of that
from @realDonaldTrump?"
- Mark Cuban, via Twitter.
The Massachusetts senator has said
her wealth tax will help pay for policies
such as "Medicare for All.".
Cuban doesn't seem convinced, saying Warren is "misleading the public.".
"The chances of getting all the necessary line items she needs for M4All approved within 4 years
are nearly impossible."
- Mark Cuban, via Twitter.
He also said it is a way for Warren
to keep attention away from
her own finances.
The Democratic senator's net worth
is reportedly around $12 million.
"The reality for @ewarren is that this is as much
to divert attention from her income and
net worth as anything else."
- Mark Cuban, via Twitter
