Stray cow becomes Indian cloth shop mascot after coming in to nap repeatedly

A cloth store in south India gained a unique guest when a stray cow in the area began visiting every day to enjoy the shop's air conditioning and cushioned floor.

The store, named 'Sairam', in Mydukur town of Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh receives daily visits from the cow who doesn't interrupt business but instead sits quietly on the cushions laid out for customers, as seen in this video from October 30.

The cow reportedly sits in the shop for two to three hours a day before leaving, and doesn't urinate or excrete when resting inside.

The shop owner, Obaiah commented: "The cow has been coming to our shop for the last six months. We were worried of my business in the beginning and tried to rid it out.

Later we adjusted with it. Our staff are also comfortable with it - it is not making any harm.”

He also stated that his shop is known in neighbouring villages because of the cow and business has improved as a result.
