Gov't to establish high-tech departments in colleges to nurture talent

The government has announced plans to establish new high-tech study departments to nurture 80-thousand students in future technology over the next ten years.
The Education Ministry said university departments will establish more science-based studies including AI, next-generation semiconductors and bio-health, and start admitting students from 2021.
The ministry will also work to revise laws so colleges can establish convergence majors... and will invest in the medical industry to resolve health worker shortages.
