The Supreme Court, in its historic judgement on the decades-old land dispute in Ayodhya, said that it will be given to a government-run trust for the building of a temple and a five-acre "suitable" plot will be given for a mosque. After the Ayodhya verdict, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, "The judgment on Ayodhya is historic. The judgement will further strengthen India's social fabric. I urge everyone to take the verdict with equanimity and magnanimity. I also appeal to the people to maintain peace and harmony after this landmark verdict."

अयोध्या जमीन विवाद मामले पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने शनिवार को अपना फैसला सुना दिया है.कोर्ट ने विवादित जमीन रामलला को देने के फैसला किया है वहीं मुस्लिम पक्ष को 5 एकड़ की वैकल्पिक जमीन देने का आदेश दिया है, सुप्रीम कोर्ट का फैसला आने के बाद लोगों की प्रतिक्रिया आनी भी शुरू हो गई हैं. रक्षामंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने एससी के फैसले को ऐतिहासिक बताया है. उन्होंने लोगों से फैसले का सम्मान करने और शांति बनाए रखने की अपील की है.
