Swahid Peoli Phukan College lecturer losses Rs 60,000 to cyber-fraud

In a shocking incident, Swahid Peoli Phukan College’s Assamese Department lecturer identified as Dr Moushumi Rekha Khound fell prey to the cyber fraud after she lost an amount of Rs 60,000 through fraudulent transactions from her bank account.
The incident was reported from State Bank of India Namti Chariali Chepangoni Branch in Jorhat town.
Notably, an amount of Rs 20,000 was debited in two transactions and Rs 10,000 in another two transactions from Moushumi’s account.
Following the incident, the matter was informed to the Bank authorities at SBI Namti Chariali Chepangoni Branch.
The incident was reported from State Bank of India Namti Chariali Chepangoni Branch in Jorhat town.
